In its 3rd year, the Holiday Giving Tree program aims to provide the Des Moines Ronald McDonald House with much needed wish list items for the House and the families during the holidays. Stop by your local McDonald’s in Central Iowa and pick an ornament off the Christmas tree in the store. That ornament will have an item needed by the Ronald McDonald House like postage stamps, toothbrushes or baby clothes. Bring that item back to McDonald’s before December 17th and all of the items will be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House before Christmas. Thank you to the Mid-Iowa McDonald’s Co-Op, their owner/operators, the many McDonald’s managers and staff and of course their customers that help make this program happen! Thank you!

Looking for a great holiday gift idea? Stop by the Dillard’s Store at Jordan Creek Town Center and pick up the 2012 Southern Living Christmas Cookbook for $10. Dillard’s is a National Donor to RMHC and since 1994 has contributed more than $4.5 Million dollars to Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters nationwide through their holiday fundraising promotions. Last year, the Dillard’s at Jordan Creek Town Center raised over $6,200 for the Des Moines Ronald McDonald House! A great gift, a great cause and a great price!
