Morris Family

January 30, 2024

Jillian and Reese Morris, from Stanhope, IA, stayed at our House near Blank Children's Hospital for 15 nights while their son, Raiden, received care in the NICU. At 37 weeks, Jillian had an emergency c-section after 36 hours of labor. When Raiden was born, he was believed to have gone without oxygen for an unknown amount of time. He was transferred to Blank and underwent total body cooling to prevent any damage to his brain. Raiden showed everyone how much of a fighter he is, and is now able to go home with Mom and Dad!

Jillian said, "The Ronald McDonald House was a beacon of hope for us. It gave us a place to stay close by while also giving mom a place to heal. Everyone was so gracious and kind. We could never repay this organization enough. We are forever grateful!"
